What is a pointer?
it is a variable, which holds the address of something of that data type.
pointer can hold addresses and values also.
option1 is true, and it can hold the address of functions also.
option 2 is true, and it can hold address of a function also.
pointer is generally a variable which holds the address of any thing of that data type. using pointers [specifically function pointers] we can store the address of a function.
