Mr. Balu, Mr. Gangadhar, and Mr. Venu are playing death-shot game.
Each of them have a gun. Each of them will get turn to shoot.
The game continues until only one person is left.
Mr. Balu can successfully hit target only once in 3 times.
Mr. Gangadhar can successfully hit target twice in 3 times.
Mr. Venu can successfully hit target each time he shoots.
Balu gets the first chance, Gangadhar gets next chance to shoot if he is alive, and Venu gets last chance to shoot if he is alive.
If you are Mr. Balu, where should you shoot first for the highest chance of survival?
He should shoot at the ground
He should shoot at himself
He should shoot at Mr. Gangadhar
He should shoot at Mr. Venu
If Mr. Balu shoots the ground, it is Mr. Gangadhar's turn. Mr. Gangadhar would rather shoot at Mr. Venu than Mr. Balu, because he is better. If Mr. Gangadhar kills Mr. Venu, it is just Mr. Balu and Mr. Gangadhar left, giving Mr. Balu a fair chance of winning. If Mr. Gangadhar does not kill Mr. Venu, it is Mr. Venu's turn. He would rather shoot at Mr. Gangadhar and will definitely kill him. Even though it is now Mr. Balu against Mr. Venu, Mr. Balu has a better chance of winning than before.
